There are several reasons to start training your body regularly with a triathlon, also known as a cross training routine. The time alone can help you sort out stressful thoughts, while working on your self-esteem as you swim, ride a bike and run to slim down. Some folks find the intense exercise routine to be spiritual, and many others just love to show off their lean physiques. However, the most common reason to perform a rewarding triathlon is to quickly lose the belly fat that weighs you down.
The triathlon is an ideal exercise to eliminate unwanted belly fat. Not only will your stomach begin to shrink, but your entire figure will grow nice and lean, as the three exercises quickly burn calories. Your heart and lungs get a fantastic cardio workout as well. It may be tough, but you should try to run a triathlon five times a week. Skipping a belly-burning workout is not unlike giving into the temptation of chocolate cake.
You can start out cross-training slowly, and gradually increase your intensity. The more weight you see vanish, the more enthused you'll be to continue training. It should only take a couple of days to lose the first few pounds and begin feeling much stronger all over your body. Your metabolism will speed up nicely too. Looking in the mirror will then give you all of the motivation you'll need to continue running triathlons throughout the week. Then it is time to increase the time and speed of your triathlon routine.
Once you start training for a triathlon, you'll simply want to eat smart. In order to swim fast, and spend quality time on a bike, as well as running on your feet, you need a well balanced diet. Eat plenty of protein and carbohydrates, and goodbye to fattening foods. You will never become physically and emotionally motivated from eating junk. After all, you won't be energized to workout with a stuffed belly. You'll prefer to sit and couch and let your fattening food settle.
You will want to drink wisely too, relying on plenty of water. Agua fills up your tummy, while flushing out your system of unwanted toxins. In fact, you should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. If H2O is just too darn boring for your taste, chug down some green tea to lose the unattractive beer belly.
Over time, you can swap up your cross training routine. One day you can spend 10 minutes swimming, but only 5 minutes on your bike, as well as another 5 minutes running. Then switch your 10 minutes of swimming for spending more time on the bike, and so on. As soon as your body can handle it, spend 10 minutes on two exercises, if not all three. Then make your way up to 15 or 20 minutes in the water, on a bike and on your feet. The triathlon may truly be the best weight loss workout for you and your fat belly.
